Michael 1I began my journey into the realm of life counselling and coaching as a young boy determined to understand the human condition, life struggle and the human psyche. I was interested in the deeper existential questions about life and I harnessed this curiosity as I continued my journey into adult life. I have spent many years studying various spiritual philosophies and thought systems including areas of metaphysics, science and psychology which I utilize in my counselling framework.

I served 22 years as a Canadian Forces Commissioned Officer working in the Canadian Cadet Movement. During my time supporting and guiding teenagers, I gained an understanding and compassion for the perspective of children and the common thread of human struggle. During this time, I also began training as a Mediator and practicing interest based communication skills in helping resolve conflicts.

I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, Board Member with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists and a graduate of Clearmind International Institute in Vancouver, BC with a Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling Psychology. Most recently I have studied Jungian Analysis at the International School of Analytical Psychology in Zurich, Switzerland. As a counsellor and coach, I help others find meaning and build resilience in their lives as they navigate through crisis, change, loss and anxiety. As a Trainer, I provide training and support in change psychology & resilience and loss & grief support.
